Cruises from Walrus Is
Walrus Island is a small uninhabited island just one kilometre long, situated on the northern limits of Hudson Bay, in the Canadian territory of Nunavut. The island lies exactly on the Arctic Circle, midway between the large islands of Southampton and Coats. Walruses aggregate on the island in July and August. These lumbering, tusked and whiskered mammals are magnificent to view, and you may catch sight of their smaller predators, polar bears.
