Your first port of call is Newport, Rhode Island, a shining gem of New England with the highest number of surviving colonial buildings of any city in the US. Next up is Boston the home of the Red-Sox and the Celtics for sports lovers but you may want to also indulge in some delicious clam chowder, or a lobster roll or just explore the bustling streets of this great city.

Beautiful Bar Harbor is the gateway to Arcadia National Park where you can explore or perhaps just wander around the town.

You will have seen a great selection of lighthouses on this itinerary however arguably the most famous will be Peggy's Cove in Halifax.

Upon returning to New York, you will then spend a night in New York including a Broadway show before heading home with wonderful memories of this magical trip into history and nature.
