Ama has developed a menu of shore excursions for every port of call. In many of the destinations that they visit, you can choose from one of several options, all of which are included in your fare. In addition to shore excursions and access to a fleet of bicycles, AmaSonata features a fitness room where you can hit the treadmill or lift some weights while cruising from one destination to the next.
Kids
For Europe and Southeast Asia itineraries, the minimum age is 4 years old, for African itineraries, the minimum age is 12 years old due to safety precautions. Any guests under the age of 18 must share a stateroom with an adult, which requires supervision at all times. AmaWaterways does not offer dedicated youth facilities or child-specific activities.
