Ulvik is a village in the county of Hordaland, Norway. It lies on a small branch of the Harfdangerfjord, the second longest in Norway. The surrounding municipality stretches from the Hardanger Fjord to 1,800 m above sea level. By road, it is about 2 hours from Bergen. Ulvik is visited in the summer by numerous cruise ships who travel along the fjord. The pocket-sized village of Ulvik strings prettily along the shoreline, with orchards dusting the green hills behind.
