Cruises from Subic Bay
Subic Bay lies on the west coast of Luzon Island, the Philippines, facing the South China Sea. Eighty kilometres to the ESE is the national capital Manila on the same island. Formerly the home of a large US naval base, Subic Bay is now an industrial and commercial area. Mount Pinatubo lies just 37 km to the north of Subic Bay. The naval base was covered in snow-like volcanic ash.
