Cruises from South Plaza island
South Plaza is a small island just off the northeast coast of Santa Cruz in the Galápagos Islands. These are a remote archipelago of equatorial volcanic islands situated in the eastern Pacific Ocean, about 955 km west of mainland Ecuador, of which they are a province. The islands form a national park, and a biological marine reserve, where wildlife is the most notable feature. The island was formed by lava streaming up from the bottom of the ocean.
