Cruises from Sam Ford Fjord
Sam Ford Fjord (Kangiqtualuk Uqquqti) lies within the Arctic Circle on the east coast of Canada’s Baffin Island, between the Inuit settlements of Pond Inlet (330 km to the NW) and Clyde River (80 km to the SE). The fjord is known for its glaciers and rugged beauty, with steep granite cliffs on both sides rising to 1500 m. Its mouth is about 20 km wide, and it extends inland 110 km. Walker Arm is a tributary fjord branching west from the fjord's western shore about 45 km to the south of its mouth.
