Cruises from Rathlin Island
‘L’-shaped Rathlin Island lies off the NW coast of Northern Ireland, just 23 km west of Scotland across the Irish Sea, and 8km north of Ireland mainland. It is part of the United Kingdom. Its population is about 100 inhabitants. Rathlin Island is home to large numbers of seabirds (and hence bird-watchers). The cliffs overlooking the sea are impressive. A cave here is said to be the one where Robert the Bruce of Scotland watched the famous spider spin its web.
