The gorgeous Mystery Island is a very small islet located at the bottom of Vanuatu. This uninhabited tiny destination is known for its pristine crystal clear blue waters, coral reefs and scenic beaches. This tiny island is only 200m wide and barely a kilometre long, but don’t let the size fool you, there is so much to see and do on Mystery Island. English is mostly spoken at Mystery Island.Even though there is an US built airstrip dating back to WWII, Mystery island is only accessible by cruise ship. Once you step off your tender boat, your breath is taken away by the natural beauty. As Vanuatu is located closer to the equator, you will experience mostly warm tropical temperatures around the mid 20’s all year around. If however there is rain forecasted, it usually moves on quickly so shouldn't impact your holiday too much. Mystery Island is only accessible by cruise ship. The ship will anchor out at sea and you are transferred over in an enclosed motorised boat also known as a tender boat, to access this beautiful island.
