Cruises from Kumamoto
Kumamoto is the capital city of Kumamoto Prefecture, on Japan’s fourth largest island Kyushu. The port has a sea entrance west to the East China Sea, and is surrounded by mountain peaks over 1000m. The main attraction in the city is Kumamoto Castle. One of the best fortified and imposing in Japan, the Castle was built in the 16th century and more recently some parts have been reconstructed.
