Cruises from Isla Isabela
Isla Isabela, the largest of the Galápagos Islands of Ecuador, is named after Queen Isabella of Spain who sponsored the voyage of Christopher Columbus. It lies on the equator, but surprisingly is home to penguins, as the waters surrounding the island are particularly cool. Imagine biking the wetlands of Isabela. Here, participants whiz by blue-footed boobies, giant tortoises, and marine iguanas. They also hop off their bikes to explore cactus forests and lagoons.
