Cruises from Grein
Grein is a small municipality located on the north bank of the Danube River, in the district Perg in the federal state of Upper Austria. First settlement appears in the 11th century with the economy based on river traffic. The pilots of Grein navigated vessels through the hazardous nearby waters and laid the foundation for the prospering middle-classes. The main square with its Renaissance Baroque and Biedermeier houses is a wonderful testimony of this period.
