Cruises from Dalian
Dalian is a port of the Republic of China, lying in the Yellow Sea midway between Tanggu (the port for Beijing) to the west, and the coastline of North Korea to the east. The city’s history in modern times included occupations by Britain, Russia (as a port and rail terminal), and Japan. Post WWII, Russia passed the peninsula to the Chinese and it was renamed Dalian in 1981. Much of the occupational heritage architecture remains.
