Cruises from Bellsund
Bellsund is a 20 km long sound on the SW coast of the island Spitsbergen, part of the Svalbard Archipelago in northern Norway. It borders the Arctic Ocean, the Norwegian Sea, and the Greenland Sea. The Geographic North Pole is 1400 km to the north and Arctic Circle 1180 km to the south. Expect to see the Midnight Sun high in the sky. Two fjords enter the sound – Van Mijenfjorden and Van Keulenfjorden. It is separated from Van Mijenfjorden by the islands of Akseløya and Mariaholmen.
