Battle Harbour is a restored, 19th Century fishing village, now a summer fishing station, located on Battle Island, one of many islands lying east of the mainland coast of Labrador. It lies in Canada’s province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The island of Newfoundland likes 70 km to the south, and Battle Harbour is situated at the northern entrance to the Gulf of St Lawrence.
