Cruises from Badas
Badas is a district of the north coast of the island of Sumbawa, in the Indonesian province of West Nusa Tenggara. Sumbawa lies between Lombok to the west and Flores to the east. Ships tender to the bay at Badas, that faces the Java Sea. There are two islands off the coast: the small Medang and large Moyo. The bay, frequented by fishing boats, is about five kilometres from the inland town of Sumbawa Besar (pop.56,000). Visitors will be fascinated with the local culture and architecture.
