    Queen Elizabeth Overview

    Queen Elizabeth

    4.2
    (from 665 verified customers)

One of the four Queens making up the entirety of the Cunard fleet, Queen Elizabeth is a tribute to her predecessors, the original Queen Elizabeth and the much-loved Queen Elizabeth 2. Launched in 2010 and last refurbished in 2018, the ship has many art-deco interior features, marble and rich timber detailing, including the wooden marquetry of the ship itself, a centrepiece for the Grand Lobby’s main staircase. She is often affectionately known as the ‘QE’. The ship carries just over 2000 passengers and you will rarely find yourself in a crowd, except perhaps at prime dinner time or a popular theatre show. Highlights of the ship include the Garden Lounge - a light and airy atrium inspired by the conservatories Kew Gardens in London - laze here with a book and grab a specialty beverage. The Queens Room is truly the heart of the ship and is often a hive of activity thanks to the action-packed enrichment program aboard - from dancing classes, to live music, to specialty afternoon tea - this grand ballroom will draw you in. Croquet up on the Games Deck on a sunny day or a cozy night of spectacular entertainment in the Royal Court Theatre will ensure your days at sea are fulfilled. Like Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2, these ships also contain exclusive areas for guests in Princess and Queens Grill Suites.
