Puntarenas is the capital and largest city in the province Puntarenas, on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, and is one of the country’s most important tourist regions. Manta is a major commercial and holiday resort centre and the second major port of Ecuador. Lima, although a sprawling desert city, is the capital and largest city of Peru.
