What is your favourite cruise destination you visited & why?
I’m admittedly a Europhile so adore many Mediterranean ports. La Palma, Mallorca was a happy discovery one sailing – this Spanish Isle offered amazing cuisine, stunning architecture, pristine beaches, boutique shopping and a lively bustle within a compact setting you could take in on a day trip!
What is your favourite cruise ship & why?
I absolutely loved Queen Elizabeth – the art-deco style was stunning and the feel ceremonial. The Golden Lion Pub was a favourite as it felt like a traditional English pub. People watching on gala night was also a highlight, as there were some incredible outfits on display. Finally, I loved the service – thoughtful and attentive but not stuffy – the crew’s personality could shine through.
