Hunting Caye is the main island of the Sapodilla Cayes group in Belize - a country in Central America - that makes up Belize’s barrier reef. This reef is the world’s second largest barrier reef, after Australia’s. The Sapodilla Cayes Marine Reserve encompasses the southern-most section of the Belize Barrier Reef and includes fourteen sand and mangrove Cayes.
